This lamp provides an excellent complement to any bedroom. The light is such that its intensity is damped by the paper and comes out soft and brilliant!

This is not a fine piece of furniture, but for the price one would not expect it to be. Most notably, the finish of the wood is not glossy or lacquered - just a reddish matte stain with little grain and no shine. The wood is also rather light in density. But it is reasonably well put together - nothing crooked or loose, the many right angles all look true. The paper shade (with plastic backing) lets a surprising amount of diffused light through, so it actually works better as a usable light source than I anticipated. Overall, good for the money if you don't expect too much.

I ordered these lamps but they are nothing like I expected, I threw the shipping box away and so I had to keep them, but they are not what I wanted. If there's a way I can return these items, I would like to do so, they are useless to me.
