"the foto fairy"
I loved the style of this photo screen when I came across it on Amazon.
I still love the style but it is not made to the highest standard, which I would expect considering the price.
The plexiglass that covers the photos is easily scratched and the photo openings are NOT true to size.
The 8x10 are actually big enough for an 11x14 print and the 5x7 openings are large as well.
I was unable to find mats that would fit the 5x7 opening so I had to put black construction paper behind my prints to fill in that extra space...not quite the look I was going for.
My screen is also a bit wonky so that all bases do not firmly touch the ground.
I would NOT recommend buying this product for $250.

We already own one of these in honey oak. This rosewood screen complements our family room's decor and allows us to unclutter by placing photos in one place - no more dozens of picture frames everywhere. Good quality and it's a conversation piece, as well...something one doesn't see everywhere.

I paid $39 to have this product shipped to me. When it arrived, 10 of the 17 frames had come unglued from the divider. The plexiglass for these frames was floating around in the box and got scratched up pretty bad. I called Oriental Furniture to inquire about returning the divider. The customer service rep really worked with me to keep the product. She credited my entire shipping cost, gave me a discount on the product & sent me replacement plexiglass.
The portrait (vs. landscapre) style frames are actually 11x14, so I will have to purchase matting for my 8x10 photos. I also had to purchase wood glue to attach the frames to the divider. I'm disappointed in the quality, but I will make this product work for me. Once I get my photos in place, I'm sure it will look great. I don't think it's worth $249 + shipping.
