For Decorative Purposes onlyAug 14, 2010

Was a great gift, but, like the review I read, it is not air tight, so not the best way to store tea that won't be used quickly. But, really beautiful, a great price, and fine if you use a lot of Tea, hence use up the tea stored in it quickly anyway. Fine piece for twenty bucks.

By play fair It looks ok, but how can it store tea if it is not airtight? The lid just sits on top, held by gravity. Also, the hole is small. It is a little bit difficult to get stuff in and out. Sooo, I have to ask, what are yoo thinking? Not good for my tea! Maybe can hold something else. No good for my Da Hong Pao. Plenty pretty, but not the most functional jar available.
I increased the stars for the beauty of the piece.
