I too have purchased this exact same statue within the last 30 days from this dealer, but thru its own site, not Amazon. I also paid $9 shipping for this lightweight resin item, but it was on sale there for $6.95, my total cost $15.95. They can't seen to decide on a fair price for it. You decide. Otherwise, a fast shipper and the item has a pretty, serene expression.

Be careful when ordering this item. It's somewhat deceiving. It is a very attractive statue, however the 9 " includes the black block pedastal. The statue itself is only 6 1/4 inches tall. I was charged $9.00 shipping and handling based on a shipping weight of 9 lbs. However, the shipping label and my scale show a weight, with box included,of only 1 lb. It does have the appearance of a nice polished finish, but I seriously doubt the content as stone and resin as it is quite light. Resin seems most likely. My only saving grace was that I bought it at the sale price of $24.33. I would not have paid $49.00 for it. It did arrive in only 2 days.
