Since this little Buddha was so inexpensive, I wasn't expecting much, but wanted something for my meditation. In person the color is rich and much nicer than in the photo and the statue is quite beautiful. The expression is quite serene and it adds an air of peace to the room. The Buddha's hands are in a position where you can place small objects in them to add to the effect.

I received this product very quickly from the seller. And I was amazed at the quality for the price! The appearance is inspiring and has the look of a very heavy stone statue...but is much lighter (though heavy enough to stay rooted in position). It is large and has a real presence (but not too large). I bought this to put under a bamboo plant in my office for reminder of Buddha's teachings (looks like Buddha under the bodhi tree), but upon seeing it out of the box I was very tempted to keep it at home...I still might get one for the home. The shipping was first-rate - very secure! I cannot say more, other than I really love the product and am staggered I paid so little for it!

I purchased this as a gift but I have not seen it since it was sent to my sister in Chicago. However, she really liked it and I will get a look at it when I visit her in September.
