great panels but be wary of using a base.Jun 19, 2010

I purchased this set-up to make a solid wall in my office, separating my workspace from my office space and receptionist. The panels ARE NOT drilled and it states that in the description however I missed it and was less than thrilled to have to do the drilling myself. these particular panels aren't designed to go into this base, regardless of what they say. They cannot be evenly drilled and secured but it's workable. you MUST use masking tape to secure the wood before you drill or the wood will splinter and the gaps will still be there but nothing that can't be covered up with some ingenuity. I love the way it ooks in my office and even purchased 3 more panels to complete my room. Both pieces served the purpose but I strongly recommend good measuring before you begin any drilling!
They are really beautiful despite the hassle I had,
